The Challenge

Carmel, from Southern Cross, reached out regarding a mould issue in a Queensland retail store, having previously worked with us on other locations. She had spent $3,500 on a hygienist’s report and received a $90,000 remediation quote, which felt excessive.

We suggested a more targeted approach, using a Hydroxyl machine to sanitise the air and creating a temporary plastic barrier for negative pressure to contain contaminants.

This method would achieve the same result without unnecessary expenses. When Carmel asked if we could implement the solution, we agreed, provided a fair quote, and we won the job, aiming to resolve the issue effectively while respecting the client’s budget.

The Result

Lab testing confirmed that our solution effectively eliminated all mould on surfaces and in the air, saving Carmel $40,000. This successful outcome secured us as the national supplier for Southern Cross, demonstrating our commitment to cost-effective, client-focused results.
